Run Faster, Bond Deeper, Compete Smarter

Expert dog agility training in Oak Ridge, NJ, where real partnerships between handlers and dogs are built.

About Us

Kim Seiter has spent years coaching handlers and their dogs at 209 Oak Ridge Rd in the rolling hills of northern New Jersey, and her students keep coming back. Some have driven over an hour each way for weekly lessons. That kind of loyalty doesn't happen by accident.

What separates Kim from a standard obedience instructor is her focus on the relationship between you and your dog first, the obstacles second. She has prepared teams for some of the most prestigious events in the sport, including the Westminster Kennel Club dog show, where she stepped in on short notice to deliver private prep sessions that made a real difference on the floor. With a 4.7-star rating across 26 reviews, her track record speaks for itself.

Her approach is patient, methodical, and deeply personal. Whether you're running your first dog through a tunnel or refining your weave pole entries for a national qualifier, Kim meets you exactly where you are and pushes you toward something better.

What We Offer

Kim offers private agility lessons and structured training programs tailored to dogs at every stage of their competitive journey. From foundation work for puppies and green dogs to advanced course strategy for seasoned competitors, each session is designed around the specific strengths and challenges of your individual team.

Competition preparation is a specialty here. Kim has a proven ability to identify the small mechanical and handling details that cost teams time and placements, and she fixes them efficiently. Students have credited her coaching with measurable improvements in trial performance, including placements at high-profile events.

Training takes place at her Oak Ridge, NJ location, giving students a consistent, focused environment away from the distractions of a large club setting. Contact Kim directly through her website at kimseiterdogagility.com to discuss availability and scheduling.

"Highly recommended! I've been taking lessons with Kim for many years now. She's a wonderful, caring instructor, who knows how to get the best out of you and your dog. I travel more than 1 hour each way to train with her - her instruction is worth all the travel time. The facility has heat/air conditioning, the flooring is great and she has all the necessary equipment. Anyone who's interested in agility should take their dogs to Kim Seiter's classes. From foundations through advanced competition, Kim's done it all and teaches it all. She'll help you and your dog go as far in the sport as you want. Again, highly recommended."

"I have taken my dogs to Kim for over 7 years. Kim is an excellent instructor who not only has the skills, but also cares. 2016 I searched for last minute privates to help me prepare for Westminster. Kim stepped up to the plate and took me on her day off to prepare us. She prepared us so well that my dog took Highest scoring mixed breed and 3rd place for her height group. I am now taking my puppy to her. Highly recommend!"
